When did you start working at SteriValves and what is your role/position?
I started working in SteriValves in 2008. From the very beginning I was in charge of both, accounting and logistics
(orders delivery). Before Sterivalves, I had gained experience in a different context, I used to work for a private accounting firm. When the opportunity to work at SteriValves arose, I immediately liked the idea of working in a more structured organization, where I could have the opportunity to deal with other areas of a larger company and colleagues with activities or functions different from mine.
How does SteriValves change in recent years?
First of all, it has grown in number of people: when I joined the company we were around 15 employees, today
we have practically doubled. This led to an important improvement in process organization and careful management of people.
In addition, during 2020 we have also moved to a new building. We moved a short distance away to a larger, more functional and more beautiful building….but I cannot hide that I still have in my heart the previous office where I started working at SteriValves.
What do you like most about your job?
I am a strictly attentive to minute details and meticulous person, so working in the accounting field certainly
matches my personal characteristics. I like being able to interact with the different areas of the company, this makes work stimulating and gives me the opportunity to always learn new things.
What do you think is the strength of the SteriValves team?
For sure the fact of being a company who cares about its employees.
It was clearly demonstrated during this period of Covid pandemic: strict security protocols were immediately
adopted, and offices were enabled to work in “home office mode”.
I can also say that we are a great team. With some of my colleagues I have been working together for a long time, and there is a good understanding. From my point of view this is very important: work in a serene environment, where you know that you have the support of those who work with you, it is essential to feel good.
