SteriValves modular system valves: ATEX category 1G now available

WHAT IS ATEX (ATmosphere EXplosive)?

The ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU covers equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.  In many workplaces, gases, dusts or vapors can be found in the air – if these materials happen to ignite, an explosion could occur causing damage and injury. ATEX certification is intended to minimize or prevent explosions in these places.

WHY IS ATEX SO IMPORTANT?

The directive defines the essential health and safety requirements and conformity assessment procedures, to be applied before products are placed in potentially explosive areas on the EU market.

Improves safety: Conducting ATEX assessments means your product or working environment is much less likely to undergo an explosion.

Compliance with EU law: Complying with the law is mandatory, therefore purchasing an ATEX certified product means, on the one hand, preventing the risk of an accident and, on the other, speeding up the process of certification and sale of your equipment in the large EU market.

STERIVALVES ATEX SOLUTIONS:

We design and manufacture ATEX valves to be used in production processes that involve inflammable gases or combustible dusts.

The ATEX directive separates different equipment into different categories to ensure they are safe in each zone, our experienced teams of designers, project managers and engineers work together to produce certified innovative solutions depending on which type of explosive atmosphere they may be used in.

Now for modular system valves (sterivalve, rotovalve light) category 1 G is available.
